Recently, I began readTarot - layereding Mary K. Greer’s 1988 book, “Tarot Mirrors: Reflections of personal meaning.” As is often the case when I stumble across a new-to-me book on tarot is that more puzzle pieces come to fit into the larger pattern of human experience through the magical images of the tarot.

Patterns.

Joseph Campbell found them in myths from around the world, and wrote about how those  mythic patterns found direct correspondences with the tarot. You can find his analysis in the book “Tarot Revelations”.

Likewise, Carl Jung found deep and direct archetypal correspondences with the figures of the major arcana from the tarot. And now I discover that Mary K. Greer has found a pattern from one of Jane Robert’s Seth books that corresponds precisely with the journey of the tarot.

All of which is to say, there exists a profound wisdom shared by all cultures and all peoples, which is expressed not only by ancient myths and great thinkers, but within the major arcana of each deck of tarot cards.

To access the tarot and it’s wisdom in order to: align with your purpose: understand and overcome challenges: expand your options: make wise decisions: and take effective action towards a fulfilling and successful life… well, there can be few better ways to seek guidance than to embrace the ancient secrets and practical wisdom of the tarot.
